Owner Italo Maccari and Director Italo Cazorzi have faithfully followed these principles, and never more so when adopting modern, up-to-date techniques for the wines crafted for their loyal customers. The same is true for Filippo Maccari and Silvia Maccari, who formally joined the family business in 2001; this youthful generation has been able to add a dynamic enthusiasm and an innovative outlook to the venerable family and business traditions.
Italo Maccari, after his degree, in Trieste, in Business and Marketing, dedicated his career to the family wine business, and the estate continues to enjoy the considerable fruits of his experience.
Silvia Maccari, with a laurea from Padua in Political Science, is the winery's General Manager, with responsibilities that include some administration duties but especially the areas of marketing and sales. Together with her brother, she liases directly with customers in the regions of Friuli Venezia-Giulia, the Veneto, and the Trentino Alto Adige.
Filippo Maccari, at present a Project Manager at the winery, will shortly obtain his university degree, in Feltre, in Foreign Languages and Literature. He will then work on expanding Maccari's foreign market share.
Both Silvia and Filippo have recently completed the third and final years of coursework with the A.I.S. (Italian Association of Sommeliers) and are now fully and professionally accredited.
